Product Information
Specification

This course is the first of its kind in the world. Grounded through years of evidence based research, it is specifically designed to prepare Prehospital Emergency Care Providers’ (PECP) to work safely, effectively, and ethically in violent and high-risk settings. It addresses the operational realities faced by PECPs’ in both urban and peri-urban environments, where violence can erupt suddenly, and the line between life-saving care and personal survival becomes dangerously thin. The course is not about turning PECPs’ into tactical officers, it is about ensuring that they are equipped, confident, and resilient in the face of escalating danger. The course promotes a culture of safety, professionalism, and ethical readiness, empowering PECPs’ to fulfil their role without becoming victims themselves, whilst also equipping them with the skills required to provide high quality care and survival skills if they ever become victims. The course also equips PECPs' in peer counselling skills to be able to provide timeous psychosocial support to colleagues who experience violence.
